Why I’ll Never Swear Loyalty to Just One Haircare Brand (And Why That’s Perfectly Okay)
I never stick to one brand and I don’t expect my clients to either—hair just doesn’t work that way. My salon has Amika, Lanza, Surface, Redken, Olaplex, Kérastase, whatever gets the job done. One client needs heavy repair (Lanza Trauma or Redken Extreme), the next wants lightweight hydration (Amika Hydro Rush or Surface Awaken). At home my girls use different Redken lines because their textures are opposites, and I switch between products plus an amazing zero-waste bar a client makes. Bottom line: I’d rather mix the best tools from everywhere than force one line on everyone.
